Guiding verse from Isaiah 6:1-8.

Isaiah’s purpose in entering the temple is expecting, believing and wanting to encounter Lord in his life.
The purpose driven worship is being occupied by God in mind, heart, soul and body. You come to the presence of God for you to expect that He will do something in your life. A purpose driven worship is focusing on God alone.
Components of Driven Worship
- Focusing on God alone
- The results – seeing clearly who we are, became aware of who you are in the presence of God.
- Transformed lives – you are ready to serve after church
- The resolution – to be at service to God
Worship is not about how we carry ourselves, how we dress, making friends, networking for business. It’s not about how good we are in our assigned ministry–it’s not about impressing others but it’s all about Jesus.
We didn’t come to church to impress our pastor, not to impress the people, we must come only to bless the name of Jesus.
The closer we get to God, the closer we see clearer ourselves. As we see the holy majesty of our God, we begin to understand how He created us. As we focus on Jesus, the more we understand we need His grace.
It’s not about speaking in tongue, body trembling and being slain, but it’s about that your tongue will no longer curse others. It’s about your body manifesting the goodness of God. It’s about how we live. It’s about being filled with the spirit of God on a daily basis. If you are truly present with God, your life will no longer be the same.
3 types of Christians
- Rowboats Christian – always need to push to serve
- Sailboats – always go with the wind, they only serve the ministry because everyone is there
- Steamboats – make up their mind, they will serve God whether somebody is with them or not
Serving God is not about sacrificing, it’s about being privilege serving Him.
What truly worship the Lord is always desire to give his service to Him.
