My Brightest Light

Where everyday moments carry extraordinary light

Welcome to My Brightest Light

This blog started the way most honest things start; quietly, in a journal, in the small hours before the house woke up.

My Brightest Light is where I write about faith, leadership, and motherhood — not as separate compartments, but as one ongoing, beautiful, complicated story. The kind that holds boardroom decisions and bedtime prayers in the same twenty-four hours. The kind where God shows up in mountains, in Monday mornings, and in ordinary moments you almost scroll past.

You’ll find reflections rooted in scripture and Sunday sermons; stories from family trips where children refuse to sit still at romantic anniversary dinners and that somehow becomes the truest picture of grace; honest wrestling with the courage it takes to outgrow something you used to love; and the quiet breakthroughs that only show up when you stop moving long enough to notice them.

The themes woven through every post: faith as the foundation, not the footnote; leadership as a daily interior choice, not just an organizational one; motherhood in all its exhausting, sacred fullness; marriage — ten years in, a three-dot tattoo from Apo Whang-od to prove it; and healing, because naming the weight of hard seasons is always the beginning of something good.

This is not a polished highlight reel. It is a continuing narrative — and you are welcome into the middle of it.

About

Written by a woman who knows her brightest light is Jesus — and wants you to know Him too.

I am Claudette — Claude Canta to those who find me here. A supply chain leader by profession, a follower of Jesus by conviction, and a writer by calling. I started this blog in a journal before anyone was reading it; and somewhere between the honest entries and the quiet mornings, it became a space where women write back to say they found themselves in the stories. I write because healing begins when we finally name what we’ve been carrying — and I stay because Jesus is the thread running through every chapter.
